Bringing cardiac information closer to care
EasyEF aims to help professionals use ultrasound images for initial left ventricular function assessment, with a smartphone capturing and submitting the video.
The intention is to add information where specialist access is limited, while keeping clinical decisions with clinicians.

Connecting screening with further assessment
A screening result is one piece of the care journey. Clinicians consider symptoms, history, and other findings when deciding on further assessment or referral.
Effects on waiting time and referral are questions for further study rather than established service benefits.

From a short clip to a report the team can discuss
The key steps are selecting a suitable view, recording and submitting a clip, and receiving the result in the app. Reporting needs to support shared understanding within the care team.
The reporting approach includes printing and sharing information for care, with AI output interpreted alongside clinical assessment.

Image quality is part of the technology
Screen recording introduces reflections, movement, and framing variation. The pipeline therefore checks and prepares images before classification; input quality matters alongside the model.
The platform connects the app, internet, processing services, and API. Further development needs to evaluate accuracy and readiness across the workflow.

A milestone in our development journey
Echo AI / EasyEF received support through GPO Ignite Program 2025, marking a step in the journey from research toward a product.
The next work remains platform development, workflow study, and evaluations that answer clear questions for care teams.

Lessons from 218 participants
The December 2025–January 2026 Rayong study included 76 pre-chemotherapy and 142 general LV assessment participants, with nurse operation and cardiologist confirmation.
Overall accuracy was 93.6%: poor LV 100%, good LV 96.9%, and fair LV 27.3%. The intermediate group needs further development, and full publication and peer-review status remain unverified.

Beyond ventricular function, we are interested in valve and pericardial conditions, pulmonary hypertension, and abnormal masses as future research topics.
Potential collaborators can begin by agreeing on the question, data scope, and evaluation method before collecting or transferring real data.
